Optional Services
Subject to availability, weather, and permissions. CAA registered. Incorporated into the final deliverables, not provided as a standalone service.
Billed as a full-day rate, an extra camera operator ensures key moments are captured from various angles. Ideal for larger corporate events, multi-speaker panels, and complex locations.
Billed at an hourly rate, extra shooting time can be added to any event booking or retainer package to accommodate extended schedules, new locations, or evolving project needs.
Make specific tweaks to your video, such as adjusting cuts, color, or audio. This is not a full re-edit, but an additional round of polish beyond the standard scope to ensure the final asset aligns perfectly with your goals.
Bespoke quotes are available for multi-day summits, international events, or complex campaigns.
We will outline this in detail during our strategy call.
All prices are estimates and may vary depending on project scope, location, and specific deliverables. Additional charges apply for multi-location shoots, extended hours, or highly customised editing. Travel within 50 miles of Leslie, Fife is included; travel beyond this is billed at £0.45 per mile. For distant or overnight projects, standard transport and accommodation costs will be added to your quote. Final footage is delivered via a private Google Drive link and hosted for 90 days, after which clients are responsible for their own secure archiving. For a bespoke proposal, let's talk strategy.
BOOKING & PAYMENTS
Project Deposit
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your shoot date. This fee confirms our services, covers pre-production strategy, and reserves your date exclusively in our calendar.
Final Balance
The remaining 50% balance is strictly due within 14 days following the shoot (Net 14), or before the handover of the final, unwatermarked digital assets, whichever comes first.
Retainer Partnerships
Retainer packages are billed monthly in advance. Invoices must be cleared before our monthly strategy session to commence that month's production and ensure a seamless content rollout.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellation Policy
When you book Melville Visuals, that time is exclusively dedicated to your project. The 50% deposit is non-refundable and covers strategic pre-production and the opportunity cost of turning away other work for your date.
If a confirmed project or event is cancelled by the client 14 days or less before the scheduled shoot, the full remaining balance becomes payable.
Rescheduling & Force Majeure
We understand that business landscapes can change and some circumstances are genuinely beyond your control (e.g., severe weather, government restrictions, or serious emergencies). If your event or project must be postponed due to these unforeseen circumstances, we will make a reasonable effort to transfer your deposit to a rescheduled date within 6 months, subject to our availability. If we are unavailable on the new date, the standard cancellation policy applies. Please let us know in writing as soon as possible so we can begin the rescheduling process.
